Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal YogaOne of the best ways to stay in shape for hiking while you’re pregnant and prepare for childbirth is to add prenatal yoga into your workout routine.

My favorite Prenatal Yoga routine that does an excellent job incorporating breathing, meditation, and rhythmic yoga moves to connect an expectant mother with her baby is Lara Dutta’s Prenatal Yoga.

Not only is her voice soothing, but the sequence of poses and focus on rhythm (which all babies love, even while they are still in the womb), makes this 30 minute yoga workout a favorite!

    This is fantastic. Thank you for posting this. I showed the link to my wife (31 weeks pregnant with our first child!) and she does it several times per week. Confession, I have done it too! I love it!
